Chatham Rabbits Live From Small Pond
Small Pond Sound is a recording studio tucked inside a circa 1865 cabin in the North Carolina Piedmont. Back in November, Sarah and Austin McCombie spent two full days at Small Pond with their amazing Chatham Rabbits band, engineer, and film crew to capture the magic. They filmed and recorded a mix of songs from “The Yoke is Easy, The Burden is Full,” as well as a few brand new tunes that will be on their upcoming full length album. As the name suggests, these songs were recorded completely live - no overdubs or auto-tune.
“We thought Small Pond Sound was a perfect backdrop for our music, and the resulting videos really captured what we wanted to show of our live show,” said Austin McCombie.
The performances in the videos are the actual tracks that were released on “Chatham Rabbits: Live at Small Pond,” and are live on YouTube. The audio went live on Spotify, iTunes, and everywhere else in January of 2022, simultaneous with the release of the videos on YouTube, and the response has been wonderful.
“Big Fish Small Pond Music really provided a boost to our 2022 marketing campaign, hosting this production at Small Pond Sound. This was a perfect kick-off to what we’re sure is going to be an exciting year for Chatham Rabbits,” added Sarah McCombie.
