BFSP Music is a BMI-licensed music publisher, and can handle all aspects of song registration, rights management and royalty collection and optimization.

BFSP Music operates a fully-equipped recording studio, The Studio At Small Pond Farm, in a wonderful log cabin and cottage, built in c.1865, updated and converted in 2017. The room, designed by Eric Ronick (Panic! At The Disco, Black Gold, Lanski) and acoustically optimized by Brent Lambert (The Kitchen Mastering), is based on Logic Pro X with easy integration to artist-provided computers and DAWs, and features a broad selection of microphones and outboard equipment, as well as an extensive collection of vintage and modern instruments. In-house and contract engineers, producers and arrangers are available, tapping into the rich musical scene of Chapel Hill, Durham and the surrounding Piedmont region.

Utilizing existing services like Distro Kid, BFSP Music manages getting the songs to the many streaming platforms, complete with audio files, graphics and other required assets. CD and vinyl production and distribution services are in development.

With experience in the big-label promotion world, as well as social media, radio and other traditional marketing channels, BFSP Music can help the artist design and execute a strategy to expose their music to a targeted and largest possible audience.

BFSP Music is located on Small Pond Farm, a rural seven-acre location 15 minutes outside Chapel Hill, NC. The Studio At Small Pond Farm is a full tracking studio set in a c.1865 log cabin, that is part of a restored cottage on the property which is available for residence-based projects for select artists. It has frequently been used for full music production, rehearsals, video shoots…or just simple creative retreats and pre-production. There are gardens with year-around fresh produce, many quiet patios, verdant lawns and landscaping, and a swimming pool. And, of course, there’s Small Pond, stocked with bass and perch!
